The Ultimate Rejection Letter!!! To be follow in order to practice your PhD skills!!!
The Ultimate Rejection Letter
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Herbert A. Millington
Chair - Search Committee
412A Clarkson Hall, Whitson University
College Hill, MA 34109
Dear Professor Millington,
Thank you for your letter of March 16. After careful consideration, I
regret to inform you that I am unable to accept your refusal to offer me
an assistant professor position in your department.
This year I have been particularly fortunate in receiving an unusually
large number of rejection letters. With such a varied and promising field
of candidates, it is impossible for me to accept all refusals.
Despite Whitson's outstanding qualifications and previous experience in
rejecting applicants, I find that your rejection does not meet my needs at
this time. Therefore, I will assume the position of assistant professor
in your department this August. I look forward to seeing you then.
Best of luck in rejecting future applicants.
Sincerely,
Chris L. Jensen

Newspapers Gringos vs Colombianos

Me da manera traducirlo):
1. The Wall Street Journal is read by the people who run the country.
2. The Washington Post is read by people who think they run the country.
3. The New York Times is read by people who think they should run thecountry and who are very good at crossword puzzles.
4. USA Today is read by people who think they ought to run the countrybut don't really understand The New York Times. They do, however, liketheir statistics shown in pie charts.
5. The Los Angeles Times is read by people who wouldn't mind runningthe country - if they could find the time, and didn't have to leaveSouthern California to do it.
6. The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country and did a far superior job of it, thank you very much.
7. The New York Daily News is read by people who aren't too sure who'srunning the country and don't really care as long as they can geta seat on the train.
8. The New York Post is read by people who don't care who's running the country as long as they do something really scandalous, preferablywhile intoxicated.
9. The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another countrybut need the baseball scores.
10. The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren't sure there is a country, or that anyone is running it; but if so, they oppose allthat they stand for. There are occasional exceptions: if the leadersare handicapped, minority, feminist, atheist, dwarfs who also happento be illegal aliens from any other country or galaxy, provided, ofcourse, that they are not Republicans.
11. The National Enquirer is read by people trapped in line at the grocery store.
12. And, finally, our country is run by someone who doesn't read a newspaper at all..

3. MAGANGUE HOY de Magangué
4. LA LIBERTAD de Barranquilla
5. EL PORVENIR de Cartagena de Indias
6. EL MERIDIANO DE CORDOBA de Montería (que poseye esta foto):
